While my son, Leandro, and our team in lingkod Loren and Lingkod Legarda Leviste continued giving relief operations from personal funds in every barangay in the towns of Lemery, Taal, Balayan, Calatagan, Tuy, Lian, Nasugbu, and Calaca city. We also visited the micro enterprises in Municipality of Taal, a heritage town.
We ensured that they will be supported in terms of marketing assistance, product development and even providing additional capital for their needs. Embroidery on jusi and pinya is an age old art and tradition, we are reviving it in both Taal and Lemery.
Do you know that homes in gulod still have embroiderers? I will ensure that each household who still has interested and skilled embroiderers will be given support. The same goes for culinary heritage and the small restored homes that provide locals with traditional Filipino cuisine.
