As chair of the Senate committee on culture and the arts, I attended the Regular Board of Trustees (BOT) Meeting of the National Museum. As always, I felt inspired by the meaningful discussions.
Various agenda items were addressed, highlighting our commitment to culture and environmental conservation. I proposed the establishment of a native tree park or arboretum and even creating a seed library. The establishment of more national museum branches in Mindanao was proposed too, especially a textile museum in region 12, where several manlilikha ng bayan awardees are from.
So many exciting projects for this year and beyond!
