As I delivered my Privilege Speech on National Indigenous Peoples Day, I was reminded of the significant strides we’ve made, yet humbled by the distance we still have to go. The journey to fully uphold the rights of our indigenous peoples is far from complete.
Our indigenous communities are not just stewards of the land; they are the heart of our nation’s ecological wisdom.
