Working past midnight till the wee hours of the morning to sponsor the budget of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). Discussions ranged from foreign policy issues, to the welfare of our kababayans in war torn and conflict areas, to supporting our bid for the United Nations security council seat and hosting ASEAN in 2026, and many more. I am always inspired when I defend the dfa budget, and glad to be of help to the competent men and women of this very important department as well as serving our Filipinos working overseas.
