I joined my colleagues from the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Bangsamoro Transition Authority at the second meeting of the Philippine Congress — Bangsamoro Parliament Forum (PCBPF).
Under Republic Act No. (RA) 11054, otherwise known as the “Organic Law for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao,” the PCBPF is created for purposes of cooperation and coordination of legislative initiatives.
We recognize the importance of enhancing programs through effective coordination and cooperation of legislative initiatives suited to the specific needs of the region as part of our commitment to the people for peace and progress in the region, and the whole country.
Let us maintain the momentum for peace and sustain our efforts moving forward.
