The National Rice Awareness Month (NRAM) Exhibit formally opened yesterday in the Senate.
Every November, the country observes National Rice Awareness Month to raise understanding on rice, fight malnutrition, and achieve rice self-sufficiency. This year’s theme, “Be RICEponsible,” is a reiteration to the public for responsible rice consumption.
We thank the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) for campaigns that strike at the heart of planetary and personal health.
I invite all Senate employees and guests to visit this exhibit located on the second floor of the Senate building until November 24, 2023.
