It is an absolute joy and honor to bring together 240 MSMEs, our talented Filipino artisans from all over the Philippines at the National Arts and Crafts Fair 2023!
As the principal sponsor and author of RA 9501, the Magna Carta for MSMEs, this fair embodies the spirit of our legislation. Together, with programs like DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program, DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program, DTI Shared Service Facilities, and DOST Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology, we’ve paved the way for the growth of our artisans.
NACF is a celebration of the Filipino spirit of creativity, culture and entrepreneurship. Thus, I am pleased that all regions of the Philippines are represented in this event—helping our MSMEs reach new markets and grow their businesses, all while also showcasing their heritage.
I am grateful to the DTI, NCCA, and other agencies for partnering with us in making this fair a reality. I would also like to thank the GAMABA awardees, our government officials, and foreign dignitaries for their support.
