Our road to PH GOH 2025 is in the works!
We warmly welcome representatives of German publishers – from Suhrkamp Verlag, Kiepenheuer und Witsch, Herder Verlag, Mairisch Verlag, Alexander Verlag, and Mohr Siebeck – to the Philippines as part of their creative tour in Southeast Asia.
As the visionary and project principal of the participation of the Philippines as Guest of Honour country in the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2025, I am certain that this is a good opportunity to present the
unique landscape and rich literary culture of the Philippine book industry.
Said initiative, which started 8 years ago, is a collaborative undertaking of the National Book Development Board (NBDB), the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Office of Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda.
