It is our duty to advocate for the rights of all employees, ensuring their voices resonate and their needs are prioritized. This advocacy encompasses striving for fair wages, implementing reasonable working hours, and eradicating discrimination in all its forms.
During the deliberation for the 2025 proposed budget of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), we tackled pressing issues confronting our nation’s workforce, including the challenges of “endo” or contractualization, the protection of those navigating the gig economy, and the reintegration programs for our kababayans formerly employed by POGOs.
As we championed the agency’s budget, our focus remained on enhancing the effectiveness of its programs and services. We are committed to ensuring that every peso allocated contributes to fostering a resilient, adaptable, and empowered Filipino workforce.
