Every Filipino, regardless of religion or background, deserves to be laid to rest with respect and dignity. Thus, I strongly support Senate Bill No. 1273, or the Equal Access to Public Cemeteries Bill. This proposed measure, which I co-sponsored, ensures that Muslim Filipinos, indigenous peoples, and other denominations have equal access to public cemeteries. It seeks to guarantee that space is provided for everyone while honoring the unique traditions and sacred burial practices of our diverse communities.

Bawat Pilipino, anuman ang relihiyon o pinagmulan, ay nararapat na mailibing nang may respeto at dignidad. Kaya’t sinusuportahan ko ang Senate Bill No. 1273, o ang Equal Access to Public Cemeteries Bill.
