Human capital in our country is our wealth.
As Chairperson of the subcommittee on the 2024 proposed budget of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), I highlighted that TESDA graduates should be gainfully employed, honed to be at par with the rest of the workforce, and receive competitive wages.
TESDA courses should include transformative lifelong learning programs for those individuals who may want to continue learning and acquiring new knowledge.
Our dedication to driving economic growth through quality technical and vocational education is mirrored in R.A. No. 9509 or the Barangay Kabuhayan Act, which I principally authored and sponsored. This law establishes livelihood and skills training centers in the fourth, fifth, and sixth class municipalities.
I believe in enhancing the quality of life for countless Filipinos through the creation of employment opportunities.
