I have long been supporting the utilization of technology as a tool to improve the services in the country, especially of the government. Today, at the hearing on the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) proposed budget for 2024, I brought up the digitalization projects. We also touched on the underutilization of funds and reiterated that agencies should be given a timeline for the implementation of projects. We revisited the NDRRM Fund and the need to expedite the release of funds.
I am confident that the DBM, under the leadership of Sec. Amenah Pangandaman is committed to working with us so that our constituents benefit from the projects intended for them.
