During the Blue Ribbon Committee hearing concerning the alleged “NIA Irregularities Regarding Irrigation Projects,” we inquired on the progress in the implementation of the Free Irrigation Service Act or RA 10969, a bill I co-authored and co-sponsored. Additionally, we sought to be informed about the state of our dams, irrigation channels, and other water-related systems, with the intention of enhancing efficiency in managing our water supply to accommodate diverse needs.
To ensure a comprehensive understanding of the relevant agencies to the issue, it is crucial to convene another hearing that includes concerned local government units (LGUs) and other entities.

Sa pagdinig ng Blue Ribbon Committee hinggil sa mga “NIA Irregularities Regarding Irrigation Projects,” ating siniyasat ang progreso sa pagpapatupad ng Free Irrigation Service Act o RA 10969, isang panukalang batas na aking iniakda at itinaguyod. Bukod pa rito, ating tinanong ang kalagayan ng ating mga dam, mga lagusan ng irigasyon, at iba pang mga sistemang nauugnay sa tubig, para pahusayin ang pamamahala ng suplay ng tubig upang matugunan ang magkakaibang mga pangangailangan.
