It was a privilege to deliver the keynote message at the 35th National Disaster Resilience Month Culminating Activity. Focusing on investing in strengthened policies and innovative approaches, I stressed the importance of collective efforts in building a climate-resilient Philippines as we embrace the integration of sustainable development, technology, and knowledge-sharing.
With the leadership of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the National Resilience Council (NRC), and the private sector, I urge the nation to unite in honoring Filipino resilience and taking decisive action against climate change.
I hope that all this talk will translate into doable action that can save lives and livelihood.
