On the second day of the 31st Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF31), the Drafting Committee, which I chair, deliberated on the resolutions on Strengthening the Capacity of Parliaments to Promote Regional Peace and Security, Combatting Transnational Crimes, and Resolution on the Korean Peninsula. In the midst of escalating tensions, armed conflicts, terrorism, and the proliferation of cyber threats, it is imperative that we come together to address these pressing challenges.
As we prepare for the final day of the APPF tomorrow, I remain committed to working with our fellow parliamentarians to finalize more resolutions and ensure that they reflect the collective wisdom and shared aspirations of our region.
