I am profoundly honored to witness the Philippines’ welcoming of esteemed delegates across the Asia Pacific to the Inaugural Ceremony of the 31st Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF). The Philippines has long been a fervent advocate for regional collaboration, and we are proud to host this event that convenes parliamentarians from all corners of the region to deliberate and address the most pressing concerns facing our countries.
The theme of this year’s APPF resonates deeply with the current global landscape, “Resilient Partnership for Peace, Prosperity, and Sustainability,” underscoring the urgency of forging stronger parliamentary bonds to navigate the complexities of our interconnected world.
