As someone who was born and raised in Malabon, I am very glad to be part of the 23rd anniversary of Malabon’s cityhood which also coincides with the 425th founding anniversary of our beloved City.
Malabon is very close and dear to my heart as my formative years were developed within the confines of our humble family yard in Brgy. Potrero. I spent my childhood chasing butterflies and climbing mango trees planted by my Lola Mameng. These memories were the foundation of my dedication to the city of Malabon.
Today, I express my love for our City by helping our fellow Malabueños through different government programs such as the DOLE Kabuhayan, DOLE TUPAD, and DSWD AICS. I also supported the restoration of San Bartolome Church, a more than 400-year-old church which was declared by the National Museum of the Philippines as an Important Cultural Property in 2022. I personally donated to the Child Protection Network (CPN) Foundation for the establishment of Women and Children Protection Units (WCPUs) and among the beneficiaries is the Ospital ng Malabon.
I will continue to support and empower Malabon City. Happy founding anniversary to all my fellow Malabueños!
