3rd State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. (July 22, 2024)

Year after year, after having witnessed 24 SONAs as a lawmaker, I feel grateful knowing that the longevity of my service as a legislator stands as a testament to my dedication, consistency, and, above all, the trust the Filipino people have bestowed upon me. For this, I am eternally grateful.
Yet, despite the decades, my focus remains firmly on solving the problems of today, and ensuring a better future. While I have given much, a life without public service would be devoid of true meaning. My commitment to the Filipino people, which began when I was 38 years old, walking the grand halls of the Senate for the first time as a young female senator, or in a remote barangay in the rural areas, stands true to this day — the greatest honor of my life has been service, selfless and tireless — all for the Filipino people.
