Had such a wonderful evening celebrating the birthday of my dear friend, DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos! It was an honor to share the stage with President Bongbong Marcos, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, SP Chiz Escudero, and Heart Evangelista-Escudero as we raised a toast to the birthday boy.
I was also delighted to reconnect with Benhur’s daughter, Charlene Abalos, who I remember was just a child sitting on my lap during campaign rallies. Seeing her now as a lovely young woman is truly heartwarming.
