I had the pleasure of meeting with the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM2) Secretariat, led by Executive Director Dr. Karol Mark Yee.
As the newly designated EDCOM2 Commissioner, I made it a priority to receive a comprehensive update on EDCOM2’s findings, recommendations, and current progress. We engaged in meaningful discussions about the Commission’s role in conducting a thorough assessment of the Philippine education sector. These conversations were crucial in ensuring that our collective efforts are aligned with the goal of elevating the quality and competitiveness of education in our country.
I look forward to more productive sessions with the Commission as we work together to build a globally competitive education system that benefits all Filipinos.
