I thank my esteemed colleagues for their support in the Resolution granting consent for me to accept the conferment of the rank of Officer in the Order of the Legion of Honour conferred to me by the French Republic.
Though I am deeply honored to receive this award, I am even more humbled by the recognition and support from my colleagues.
This honor is not mine alone. It is shared with all those who tirelessly championed not just environmental protection, cultural preservation, sustainable development, but all the things we hold dear and those who understand that what we cherish today is the foundation upon which tomorrow will be built.
