Today, we launched a program that grants full scholarships to candidates at the Asian Institute of Management’s (AIM) Executive Master in Disaster Risk and Crisis Management (EMDRCM) program.
Through the partnership with the Climate Change Commission (CCC) and the AIM, we aim to advance the national climate agenda and cultivate transformative leaders capable of professionalizing disaster risk reduction and management, climate change adaptation, and building resilient communities.
The Sustainable Leadership Learning for Climate and Disaster Risk Reduction (SLL-CDRR) will last for six terms from July 2024 to December 2025, where all 18 participants must undertake an in-depth, applied research project that could be used by the most vulnerable to climate change.
We hope that the best and brightest in the field will be part of this endeavor as we continue to address the impact of climate change and provide a better environment for future generations.
