After nearly two decades, Legarda’s push for BHW’s rights and benefits hurdles Senate on third reading

The Senate approved on third and final reading Senate Bill No. 1905, or the Magna Carta of Barangay Health Workers. Once enacted into law, the measure would provide the country’s barangay health workers with standardized benefits, protection, and greater recognition for their service.
