SAN JOSE De BUENAVISTA, Antique — Senator Loren Legarda rallied Antiquenos to support President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s zero tolerance for corruption, drugs and criminality.
In her speech, Legarda, who administered Thursday’s oath-taking of elected officials in Antique, said that Antiquenos should join the campaign of the new president and not let their children be destroyed by syndicates.

Senator Loren Legarda, a three-term senator who chairs the Senate Committees on Finance, Climate Change, and Cultural Communities has authored and sponsored 22 laws in the 16thCongress, covering the period between 2013 and 2016.
Legarda filed 146 bills as author and 64 bills as co-author. Twenty-two (22) of these bills are now laws. She authored 70 resolutions and co-authored 40 others. She also sponsored Senate concurrence in the ratification of two international treaties.

Senator Loren Legarda today hailed the enactment of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Reorganization and Modernization Act (RA 10867) and the Batanes Responsible Tourism Act (RA 10866).
Legarda is a co-author of RA 10867, which mandates the modernization of the NBI through acquisition of state-of-the-art intelligence and forensic equipment, and maintaining an elite and competent personnel through the provision of competitive compensation packages, including training, insurance benefits and scholarship grants for NBI agents and employees.
