SAN JOSE De BUENAVISTA, Antique — Senator Loren Legarda rallied Antiquenos to support President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s zero tolerance for corruption, drugs and criminality.

In her speech, Legarda, who administered Thursday’s oath-taking of elected officials in Antique, said that Antiquenos should join the campaign of the new president and not let their children be destroyed by syndicates.

“Let it be said that Antique has zero tolerance for corruption, drugs and criminality,” the lady senator, whose grandparents came from the province, said.

She said that instead Antiquenos should let values reverberate in the province.

She even commented that “change is here now” while Duterte’s battlecry is “change is coming.”

Meanwhile, Antique’s newly inducted governor Rhodora J. Cadiao has extended her congratulations to Duterte through the lady senator.

She added that change is happening in Antique not only in the personal lives of the people but for the entire province and that she is glad to be an instrument of it.
