SENATOR LOREN LEGARDA TODAY CALLED FOR THE PASSAGE OF THE PROPOSED MEASURE THAT WOULD PROHIBIT THE CATCHING OF SHARKS, STRESSING THAT THE ABSENCE OF SUCH LAW COULD LEAD TO THE EXTINCTION OF SHARK SPECIES.
