The government should take immediate steps to help the drought-stricken farmers, while making urgent repairs of irrigation and water impounding systems.

The poll results of NP-NPC-LDP vice presidential candidate Loren Legarda has been steadily improving with closest rival Mar Roxas’ lead having gone down by four percentage points compared to the SWS survey results in January.
In the Manila Standard Today (MST) survey, Legarda is similarly shown to be getting stronger and with a high conversion rate. She is at 28 percent.
