Legarda encourages MSMEs to avail of SBCorp’s CARES Program

“MSMEs play a vital role in generating employment opportunities and better income throughout the country especially in poor and rural communities. Comprising 99.52% of all the businesses in the Philippines, MSMEs have suffered from the overall impact of the pandemic due to both the decline in business operations and customer demands. This SBCorp CARES program is therefore a big help for them to revive their operations and ensure their business continuity,” Legarda said.

Legarda Honors Frontliners on National Heroes’ Day

Deputy Speaker and Antique Lone District Representative Loren Legarda today paid tribute to the country’s modern-day heroes in commemoration of the National Heroes’ Day.

“I salute our country’s frontliners for their sacrifices and unparalleled contribution in our fight against COVID-19. They are our health workers, policemen and members of the armed forces, the utility staff, supermarket staff, food and cargo delivery drivers, fisherfolk and farmers, market vendors, journalists, and government employees who are courageously performing their duties to provide the essential services that we need in these trying times,” Legarda said.

Legarda: Roadmap for Antique’s progress includes Efficient Transportation and Infrastructure

Deputy Speaker and Antique Lone District Representative Loren Legarda today said that providing Antique with efficient rural transport and infrastructure will help realize the full potential of the province to become a premier ecotourism destination in Panay Island and in the whole country.
