The Open Call for Curatorial Proposals for the Philippine participation at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale has been extended from October 7, 2015 to October 30, 2015. Legarda: Mat and Basket Weavers from Laguna Featured at the National Museum

This October, Senator Loren Legarda and the National Museum invite everyone to witness demonstrations of basket and mat weavers from the Southern Tagalog and Bicol Regions as they showcase their techniques at the National Museum of Anthropology every Friday and Saturday of the month.

Legarda Welcomes PHL’s Commitment to Reduce Carbon Emissions

Senator Loren Legarda today welcomed the country’s commitment to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by seventy percent (70%) by 2030 as part of its Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC) that was submitted to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on October 1, 2015.

CAAP: Only 41 of 82 PH airports operate commercially

SENATORS told officials on Thursday not to let certain idle airports in different parts of the country remain unused and instead work to generate economic activity and income from them.
