Senator Loren Legarda today said that members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) should unite in pushing for greater climate action and more green investments towards sustainable and resilient growth.
In celebration of International Museum Day (May 18), Senator Loren Legarda encouraged everyone to make frequent visits to museums to enrich understanding of our culture and history.
She also invited the public to visit the National Museum of Natural History at the National Museum Complex in Rizal Park, Manila, as it opens on May 18.
Senator Loren Legarda will participate in the 5th Singapore Dialogue on Sustainable World Resources organized by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) on May 18, 2018.
Legarda, Chair of the Senate Committees on Foreign Relations, Finance and Climate Change, has been invited to be among the panelists for the session, “How ASEAN is Shifting to Green Growth,” where she will discuss key threats that climate change poses to the Philippines and ASEAN in general as well as government interventions to address the same.
