SENATOR LOREN LEGARDA HAS PROPOSED THE INCLUSION OF INFORMATION ON ETHNIC ORIGIN IN THE CONDUCT OF NATIONAL CENSUS AS A WAY TO BETTER ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES (IP) GROUPS.
