While walking through the halls of college and law school as a student, he juggled the weight of textbooks and the burdens of labor, working as a checker, laborer, construction site guard, and messenger, displaying an exemplary work ethic that would define his illustrious career.

Yet, it was not merely Senator Saguisag’s work ethic that distinguished him. More than his professional achievements, it was his unwavering moral compass and steadfast advocacy for integrity, accountability, and human rights that set him apart. In times of darkness, he found purpose in fearlessly
