SENATOR LOREN LEGARDA CONDEMNED THE REPORTED HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS AGAINST MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA AND ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCATES THAT HAVE PLAGUED THE COUNTRY FOR YEARS.

MANILA, Philippines — Because of the inevitable change in the global climate, Filipinos should face the prospect of eating less or no rice at all to go with their meals.

Senator Loren Legarda urges everyone to watch Brillante Mendoza’s Thy Womb with Nora Aunor, Bembol Roco and Lovi Poe.
She said that is is “a creative and fearless contribution to Filipino filmmaking,” and it deserved the seven awards it garnered at the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
