Reelectionist Sen. Loren Legarda on Monday received bipartisan support amid what she called efforts to malign her and dislodge her from the No. 1 spot in the surveys.

THE Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) has expressed disappointment and sadness over reports that its party mate Sen. Loren Legarda has been the subject of a smear campaign by some groups and individuals who are out to pull her down for consistently topping all pre-election surveys.

It is exactly one week to election day but many voters, believe it or not, are still not certain whom to vote for, judging from the many queries I and fellow journalists get.
