Senator Loren Legarda today renewed her call for a national budget that ensures the integration of disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) and climate change adaptation in government policies and programs.

Legarda pushes for P25,000 minimum salary for public school teachers

MANILA, Philippines – Senator Loren Legarda has filed a bill seeking to increase the minimum salary of public school teachers in the elementary and secondary levels to P25,000 and non-teaching personnel to P15,000 per month.
Under Senate Bill No. 2351, Legarda said the salaries of those occupying higher positions shall be adjusted accordingly.

Senator Loren Legarda has filed a proposed measure seeking to increase the minimum salary of public school teachers and non-teaching personnel.
