Two weeks after the back-to-back performance of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) in Tibiao and San Jose, Senator Inday Loren Legarda gives another musical treat to Antiqueños, this time courtesy of the Kabataang Silay Rondalla Ensemble.
“This is another gift to my kasimanwas in time for the Simbang Gabi. But aside from the musical treat, it is also a showcase of our musical heritage,” said Legarda, who initiated the Rondalla: Strings of Unity outreach performances in Antique.

The recent survey conducted by Random Access Consultants, Inc. (RACI) from December 2-5, 2018 showed that Legarda continues to widen her lead against former Governor Exequiel Javier and three other candidates for Congressman of Antique.

Senator Loren Legarda invites citizens and tourists of Panay Island to visit the “Habol Panay” permanent textile gallery at the National Museum Western Visayas Regional Museum (Old Iloilo Provincial Jail), Capitol Grounds, in Iloilo City starting December 16, 2018.
“Habol Panay: The Woven Artistry of Western Visayas” is an offshoot of “Hibla ng Lahing Filipino: The Artistry of Philippine Textiles” at the National Museum of Anthropology in Manila. Hibla is the first permanent textile gallery in the country that is the project of Senator Legarda.
