It’s a triple win for Senator “Inday Loren” Legarda, who is running as Congresswoman of Antique, as the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) today dismissed the disqualification case filed against her.
Earlier, the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) of Pandan-Libertad-Caluya in Antique also dismissed the Petition for Exclusion filed against Legarda; while last October 2018, the Election Registration Board (ERB) of Pandan, Antique already upheld the transfer of voter registration of Legarda to Barangay Mag-aba in Pandan.

After the favorable Election Registration Board (ERB) decision last year, Senator “Inday Loren” Legarda wins again as the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) of Pandan-Libertad-Caluya in Antique has dismissed today the Petition for Exclusion filed against her.
Legarda is now permanently included in the list of registered voters in Precinct No. 0055-B, Barangay Mag-aba, Pandan, Antique.

Senator Loren Legarda today said that innovation is the key that will drive the Philippines not only to achieving inclusive growth and development, but also to becoming one of the innovation leaders in Asia.
Legarda made the statement as the Senate adopted and ratified the bicameral conference committee report on the proposed Philippine Innovation Bill, which she principally authored. She also thanked Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, Chair of the Senate Committee on Economic Affairs, for sponsoring the measure.
