‘Taklub’ Wins Ecumenical Jury Special Mention in Cannes

Taklub, the advocacy film directed by Brillante Mendoza and starring Ms. Nora Aunor, has received special commendation from the 2015 Ecumenical Jury at the 68th Cannes Film Festival in France.

Legarda: PH has Obligation to Protect Refugees

Senator Loren Legarda today welcomed the announcement by the Philippine government that it is prepared to extend humanitarian assistance and shelter to people involuntarily displaced by conflicts from their countries, stressing that the nation has the duty to do so.
