Congresswoman Loren Legarda, the new Representative of the Lone District of Antique, brought back the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) to her home province to perform back-to-back concerts in the towns of San Jose de Buenavista and Pandan last June 30 and July 1, respectively.
Headed by Maestro Herminigildo Ranera, the PPO performed light classics such as the overture to La Gazza Ladra, Annen Polka, and Emperor Waltz, and contemporary pieces such as the Eraserheads Suite, Teleserye Theme Song Medley, and Bohemian Rhapsody/Queen.

On her first day as Representative of the lone legislative district of Antique, Congresswoman Loren Legarda filed ten (10) proposed measures, including the bill that seeks to create the Antique High School for the Arts and the Northern Antique Protected Seascape and Landscape Act of 2019.
Representative Loren Legarda of the Lone District of Antique declared the beginning of the Golden Age of Antique as she took her oath of office on Sunday, June 30, 2019, before Barangay Captain Macario Bagac of Mag-aba, Pandan.
“Today, we mark the start of the Golden Age of Antique. The past few years served as a preview of what we can and will offer to our people,” said Legarda during her inaugural speech in ceremonies held at the People’s Plaza, San Jose de Buenavista.
