Antique Congresswoman and environmental champion Loren Legarda today renewed her call to action to help stop the worsening impact of climate change before the leaders and experts of the ASEAN region during the ASEAN Ministerial Discussion on Clean Air, Health, and Climate, held at The Conservatory, The Peninsula Manila.
Legarda, a three-term senator who crafted landmark environmental laws such as the Clean Air Acr, Solid Waste Management Act, Renewable Energy Act, Climate Change Act, Clean Water Act, and Environmental Awareness Education Act, shared practical solutions to tackle climate change and air pollution.

The National Museum of the Philippines, in partnership with the Office of Congresswoman Loren Legarda launched the Hibla ng Lahing Filipino Travelling Exhibition titled Piña-Seda: Pineapple and Silk Cloths from the Tropics at the Museum Siam, Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday, July 4, and at the Naprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures, Prague, Czech Republic on Monday, July 15. The exhibit in Bangkok was launched in partnership with the National Discovery Museum Institute, while the one in Prague was done in partnership with the Naprstek Museum.
