Republic Act No. 9709 – UNIVERSAL NEWBORN HEARING SCREENING AND INTERVENTION ACT OF 2009

This law provides mandatory hearing loss screening to infants in order to promote the early diagnosis and intervention of congenital hearing loss and prevent the morbidity caused by the late detection and rehabilitation of the same.
