Senator Loren Legarda joined the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) and the Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika, at Anyo (LIRA) in commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Emilio Jacinto at the Emilio Jacinto Monument in Himlayang Pilipino, Quezon City on December 15, 2025.

Legarda welcomes SC ruling restoring PhilHealth funds, presses transparency, stronger health financing

Senator Loren Legarda today welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision directing the government to return the ₱60 billion earlier transferred from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) back to the agency through the 2026 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
