Senator Loren Legarda has welcomed the enactment of a measure that designates every August 1 as the “Araw ng Paglalathala at Pagtatanyag ng Kasarinlan ng Pilipinas”, otherwise known as “The Bacoor Assembly of 1898 Act.”
